I usually talk about how difficult it is to deal with fibromyalgia
with the outside world. However, it also affects the family a lot and
creates stress and tension.
Remember to have fun and spend quality time with your family even
when you have lots of doctor appointments or the bills are piling up. In
my family we play music together a lot. When I don’t feel like going
out to do something we can still play the piano and sing together or add
in any other instruments we own like the guitar or violin. So, instead
of a ticket to a movie or a theme park I may invest in a games
for songs that we all know like a Disney version. These small moments
together help take off some of the pressure of living with someone with a
chronic illness.
